NSU Friends, Supporters and Alumni
A new semester begins at NSU with our 19th
President, Dr. Steve Turner, taking the helm and setting priorities that
involve the NSU Foundation. Dr. Turner
formerly served in many roles at East Central University in Ada, OK, including
campus police, enrollment management, faculty, dean, and most recently as vice
president for administration and finance.
He also was active in the ECU Foundation. He and his wife, high school sweetheart
Penny, are settling in at the NSU President’s Home and we’re excited to have
them.
As we close out the NSU Foundation’s fiscal year, which
ended on December 31, we want to thank you for your generosity and for making a
difference on campus, whether you donated to a scholarship, program, or project
on campus. We are nearing completion of
the Capitola “Cappi” Wadley Reading and Technology Center in the College of
Education’s Bagley Hall, just as we begin construction of the new multipurpose
events center, which will host our men’s and women’s basketball games, and we
provided more scholarship dollars to students than ever before. We hope you’ll renew your support for NSU
through the NSU Foundation so that we can continue educating the current and
future workforce in eastern Oklahoma and improve the region’s quality of life.
Sincerely,
Peggy Glenn '90
