Why now?
It's a special time in Northeastern history as we celebrate
our centennial as an Oklahoma higher education institution.

How
can I help?
Northeastern is no longer a state-supported school,
but rather a state-assisted one. This national trend requires
us to seek funding in other ways, including generous private
support. Your gifts to the University provide a margin of excellence.

Will this
be the only campaign?
This is NSU's most recent campaign for public support,
but it's certainly not the last. As state assistance dwindles
amid challenging economic times, there's a greater need for broad
public support.

Where does
my money go?
Your contributions to this comprehensive campaign put
Northeastern's vision for charting our second century into motion.
Funds support staff and development, building and equipment updates,
and student scholarships. Your financial resources enable NSU
to remain competitive in recruiting and retaining top students
and expert faculty. Your gift also provides University professors
and their charges with state-of-the-art technology and updated,
well-maintained facilities.

How
much should I give?
Your gift is an individual decision. We trust that your appreciation
for NSU's mission to provide a quality, affordable education
to future generations of Northeast Oklahoma residents is such
that you consider a significant commitment. After all, this is
your opportunity to invest in the future.

How
long do I have to make my gift?
As a NSU alumnus or friend, you can make your gift supporting
the Centennial Campaign in the next three to five years. We offer
a variety of payment options and schedules for your convenience.

What about
annual fund gifts?
Your annual fund support is still important. However, because
of the decline of state funding we hope that you consider support
beyond your annual gift. Your assistance assures facilities,
programs, equipment and funding from permanently endowed funds
for NSU faculty and students.

Can
I designate how my money is used?
Yes. Some donors prefer to direct their gifts to a special
program or project. The Centennial Campaign focuses on establishing
sustainable funding for faculty, scholarship, programming and
equipment.

Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Gifts to the NSU Foundation are tax-deductible.
