We just ended the year-long celebration of Northeastern State University's centennial as an Oklahoma institution of higher learning. Now, we begin to Chart our Second Century. There is a high degree of excitement on campus about the challenge and promise that we face in our next century. President Betz and the Foundation Board are leading the "quiet phase" of a comprehensive campaign to makde sure that the faculty and students have the human, technological and facilities resources that NSU needs to maintain its educational and economic development leadership.
After celebrating the good times we enjoyed at NSU, it is now time for each alumni and friend to assess the impact that the University has on your life, classmates, Oklahoma and the country. Consider how you may want to invest in the future of NSU.
Throughout the year there will be a number of events, programs and opportunities for each alumni and friend to become engaged in helping to Chart the Second Century. Come and visit our campuses to see the changes taking place. Have a dialogue with our faculty, staff and students to catch their excitement and energy. Listen to their dreams. Then determine how you will help them become reality.
