Senior Class Gifts

The Senior Class Gift Program was revived in 2005 and gives graduating students the opportunity to make a small gift to a project chosen by the graduating class. The winning project, or gift, will be a lasting tribute to the Senior Class. It will be just one other way that they were able to make their mark on our great campus.

Just as important as having a physical project, it is our hope that these future alumni will recognize the importance and significance of giving back to their alma mater. We hope to instill early on the philanthropic spirit that is so vital to Northeastern State University.

Class Gifts

The Senior Class of 2007 elected to preserve the Kiowa Buffalo Hunt mural (circa 1934) in Seminary Hall. The 8-foot by 14-foot mural is a priceless piece of art and of great historical significance to our campus. Preserving this cultural artwork for NSU campus will be a lasting tribute to the Class of '07. View photos of the dedication.

The Senior Class of 2006 selected “Campus Maps” as their Senior Class Gift, choosing to place campus maps at prominent locations around the NSU campus as a lasting tribute to the Class of '06. This project will be completed as soon as university approved map reproductions are available.

The 2005 Senior Class chose to restore the historic Seminary Hall Clock Tower. Seminary Hall was built in the 1800s as a female seminary school. The main focus of the building is the Clock Tower, symbol for NSU for the past 100 years.
